One day each year, we celebrate being a woman and the amazing women in our lives. While at our office we embrace being female every day, our tight-knit community can only do so much to influence others about the importance of recognising strength in being female.

Our firm is predominantly female run (3/4 partners actually!), something you don’t see very often in property. We’re not talking about sales or networking over a gala dinner (although we do that for fun), we’re talking construction, engineering plans and excavation sites in the middle of nowhere on a day to day basis. Unfortunately, it just isn’t a women dominated field. But does that mean that we can’t work and make a name and career for ourselves in that industry? A big resounding NO.

On this day, we celebrate sisterhood, love one another and know that together we are stronger. You can be a young, fashionable, successful, working female in any field. You can excel at whatever you put your mind to. You are equal and no less capable than anybody else in that room. This is just a fraction of the advice I’ve been given from my total bombshell mentors, and on this day (and every day) I am grateful for the wonderful support and encouragement from the females of my life.

Be the change, be that #GIRLBOSS, we’re rooting for you.
